Recep Bayraktar built the Shakies app as an Ad-Supported app. This SERVICE is provided by Recep Bayraktar at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use (Watchlist Data)
For a better experience, while using our Service, you may use the “Watchlist” feature to save and track movies or TV shows. We want to explicitly state that all watchlist data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your watchlist data on any external servers. If you delete the app or clear its data, your watchlist will be permanently removed from your device.
The app does not use any third-party analytics or crash reporting tools. The only external services used are for fetching movie metadata and displaying advertisements.
Third-Party APIs (TMDB)
Shakies uses The Movie Database (TMDB) API to fetch and display movie and television information, such as titles, descriptions, and poster images. We do not share any of your personal information or watchlist data with TMDB. Advertising (Google AdMob)
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app. AdMob may collect and use data such as your IP address, device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or Apple Identifier for Advertisers – IDFA), cookies, and location data to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
